In this asana one has to look at one’s navel. Therefore, it is called Nabhi Darshanasana.
Technique:
Sit on a blanket or carpet and stretch your legs forward. Put the palms firmly on the ground at your back. Inhale and then raise the buttocks. Balance the weight of the body on your heels and palms. Stretch the whole body while looking at your navel. Keep the elbows straight and come to the final position. Hold this position comfortably as long as possible with breath fully retained. Exhale and come to the former position. Relax comfortably.
